I'm a Creative Director and Cinematographer based in Sydney, Australia. My work often moves between fiction, commercial and documentary formats, with a consistent focus on visual storytelling that feels grounded, observational, and closely connected to people and place. As a shooter-director, I'm drawn to stories shaped by the rhythms of Sydney, its subcultures, creative communities, and everyday details. My work often explores intersections between art, culture, and sport, with a particular interest in capturing moments that reflect lived experience.
I have a strong belief in storytelling that makes space for underrepresented voices and perspectives. Across both independent and commissioned work, I have collaborated with artists, athletes, and community members to create work that is visually rich and narratively honest. My approach is hands-on and process-driven, with a preference for small crews, natural light, and close collaboration with subjects and contributors.
I graduated from the Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS), where I honed in and developed my directing and cinematography practice across a range of screen formats. My formal education is supported by strong technical experience, working as a Camera Prep Technician at VA Digital Hire, Australia’s leading camera rental house. There, I gained a detailed working knowledge of a wide range of industry standard technical equipment, while developing strong relationships within Sydney’s production community.
My background allows me to move fluidly between creative development and production execution, bringing a high level of craft and technical fluency. I aim to continue to develop projects that reflect my interest in place-based storytelling, and I'm currently working across short-form and long-form formats in both independent and commercial settings.
